Family Fun Day
May 11, 2024 from 1 PM – 4 PM
Join us as we highlight some of the wonderful activities Camp Speers has to offer. We’ll have music, crafts, pony rides, and a whole lot of fun! This is an awesome way to spend time together as a family while enjoying the great outdoors.
Super Mario Brothers Family Movie Night
May 17, 2024 starting at 7 PM
Grab your blankets, snacks, and friends as we gather for an outdoor movie night at camp! Gates will open at 7 PM so families can get parked and reserve a spot in our meadow. The kids can play and run around as the sun begins to set and we’ll settle in for the Super Mario Brothers Movie!
Cost: $5 per person
Fall Festival
October 12, 2024 from 10 AM – 2 PM
Fall is a great time for pumpkin picking and painting, enjoying a hay wagon ride, trying your own homemade apply cider and lots of other fun camp activities. Grab your family and join us at camp for a day of fall-themed fun! Food items will be available for purchase.
Holiday Kick Off Craft Fair and Pancake Breakfast
December 7, 2024 from 8 AM – 12 PM
Bring your family for some pancakes and craft fun! We’ll have photos with Santa by the fire, a kids shopping area, craft vendors available so you can select the perfect holiday gifts, and so much more.
Bog Hike Tours
Multiple dates available!
Come to Camp Speers YMCA to experience our protected bog, which is a relic of the last ice age and now a permanently protected haven that provides a unique outdoor experience. Registration is required, but there is no cost to join the tour. All hikes are from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
*Please note: Our bog trail path is a moderate level hike containing a fairly rocky terrain. It is highly recommended that hikers wear sturdy shoes, bring a water bottle, and contact us ahead of time if there are any accommodations you will require to help you be successful in your time at Camp Speers YMCA.

Volunteer Days

We sure do love camp, but 1,100 acres is a lot to take care of! We’re seeking volunteers who want to share time at camp while helping make it a better place. Trail Crew Days take place monthly and provide an opportunity to clear/remark trails and upkeep the property. We’ll work from 9am-12pm. Feel free to pack snacks and a lunch to enjoy at camp when the work is done. Contact us if you have questions.

Camp Open House
Multiple dates available!
Camp Speers welcomes you to join an open house and enjoy a guided tour, learn about camp programs, get to know the staff, and try out some of our favorite camp activities. This will help kids build confidence and independence even before camp starts and allow children to meet some of the people they will spend time with while at camp. Our open houses offer all of this free of charge.
