There are so many ways Camp Speers and our supporters are making a positive and lasting impact on the lives of youth, adults, families and communities. Whether you are volunteering your time, making a financial donation or spending a summer working with us, you are helping youth develop strong character, learn new skills, and become stewards of the world around them.
Voluteer
If you want to give back and volunteer at our camp, you can attend one of our volunteer work weekends. You’ll join some of our favorite camp staff, campers from years past, and some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
DEM Fundraising
Delta Epsilon Mu, Inc. is the nation’s premier co-ed, pre-professional, pre-health fraternity that serves students interested in entering any of the health professions. The fraternity was founded in 1996 at Binghamton University, just 2 hours away from Dragonfly Forest’s home at Camp Speers. Delta Epsilon Mu (or DEM, as most members affectionately refer to the fraternity) adopted Camp Dragonfly Forest as their national philanthropy at the fraternity’s summer National Convention on July 19th, 2015. Since then, DEM members have served at camp as medical interns, counselors, and even unit leaders and activity directors after coming back for a few years! Delta Epsilon Mu is committed to assisting Dragonfly Forest in their mission to provide a camp environment where campers are not limited by their medical conditions and are instead provided with their place to soar!
