Day Camp

Camp Speers provides a safe, fun, and active environment for children to develop new skills, self-esteem, and friendships. Day camp is great for kids who want to laugh, learn, explore, and grow in the great outdoors.

What is Day Camp?

Day Camp’s exciting programs are for children Pre-K to tenth grade. Campers select from a variety of age-appropriate activities to create a fun schedule within their camp group like canoeing, rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, sailing, arts & crafts, drama, songs and skits, survival skills, tie-dye, archery, nature art, sports, ga-ga, high ropes, music & more. Horseback riding is also available each week for an additional fee.

Day Camp offers two main camp options: Traditional Day Camp and Specialty Day Camp. Grab your water bottle and your sunscreen and get ready for an unforgettable experience!

Traditional Day Camp

For our neighbors far and wide, we offer an exception day camp experience for kids to run and play all summer long. Campers will enjoy traditional camp experiences like swimming or boating in our private lake or learning new skills like archery and rock climbing.

For campers who know what they love or want to try something new, we have unique specialty camp options where kids can explore a specific area of camp. Campers can learn to cook, sharpen their creative skills, go on aqua adventure, build new creations with legos, and so much more!

Camp Bundle Program

We’re excited to offer families special savings through our Camp Bundle Program! The more weeks you register for at once, the bigger your discount.

Here’s how it works:

Discounts are applied based on the total number of weeks selected at the time of registration.
Example: If you register for 5 weeks up front, you’ll receive the 5-week discount rate.
If you decide to add additional weeks later, those new weeks will be discounted according to your updated total — but the original weeks will remain at their original rate.

Transportation Options

Camp Speers offers busing options for children who participate in Day Camp programs. This includes round trip, AM only, and PM only transportation.

The stops for busing to Camp Speers include:

PA Welcome Center in Matamoras, PA
Key Foods Grocery Store in Milford, PA

Parents can add-on their preferred transportation option when signing up for any of our Day Camp programs. Transportation is only available to campers ages 4 and up.
