Outdoor Education and Program Specialists
Join the Camp Speers-Eljabar YMCA team in the Pocono Mountains of
Pennsylvania! We are located on over 1100 wooded acres in Dingmans
Ferry, Pennsylvania about an hour and a half from New York City. Each
year our programs serve over 15,000 participants, representing diverse
and underserved populations. We are continually seeking dynamic,
dedicated, outdoor enthusiasts, who want to make a difference in the
world by working as Outdoor Education and Program Specialists.
Qualifications: We prefer a BA or BS in education, science/ecology,
recreation or related field and will consider relevant experience in
exchange. Also helpful are outdoor skills relevant to our programs,
such as Canoeing, Mt. Biking, High Ropes/Climbing and Backcountry
skills. WFR, WFA and lifeguard certifications are appreciated as well.
Salary: $250 - $300 per week plus room and board. Dates of
