Wine Tasting & Silent Auction
An evening of fun & fellowship to celebrate & support Camp Speers-Eljabar YMCA's Campership Fund.

Since its beginning in 1948, Camp Speers-Eljabar YMCA has been dedicated to providing affordable, accessible, safe and fun "Camp for All" regardless of a camper's ability to pay.  In 2010, camp provided over $120,000 in scholarship funds to deserving children.

We would like to thank all who participated in our 2011 Wine Tasting & Silent Auction Benefit.  Over $20,000 was raised to benefit our Campership program.  This money will enable us to assist more campers who would not have to opportunity to attend camp in 2012 and experience the Magic of Camp!

The evening was filled with an abundance of food, inspiring fellowship and of course wine! Thank you to Frank Ferrara and his staff at Food & Beverage Associates of New Jersey for providing the tasty hors d’oeuvres, paella and desserts. With 56 auction items available from hand knit items to jewelry to priceless opportunities, like tickets to the Grand Stand at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, there was something for everyone.  There was a flurry of excitement as we counted down to the end of the bidding but was quickly resurrected with the auctioning of wine.
